Honey Beer Bread


Ingredients :

3 cups all-purpose flour
1 tablespoon backing power
2 tablespoons sugar
1 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons honey
1 can of beer
1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted 

Direction:

Preheat oven to 350 F. Grease a 9x5x3 loaf pan and line the bottom with parchment paper. Set aside.
In a medium bowl, mix together flour, baking powder, sugar and salt.
Using a wooden spoon, stir the beer and honey into the dry ingredients until just mixed.
( you can microwave the honey for 5 to 10 seconds before to make it easier to mix)
Pour half the butter into the loaf pan. Spoon in the batter over the butter into the pan and top with the remaining butter. Use a pastry brush to spread it around.
Bake for 50 to 60 minutes or until toothpick inserted comes out clean.
Slice and Enjoy !!
